Stretch marks...... nothing to be ashamed of, you totally earned those stripes mama! I get it, stretch marks are a concern for a lot of women, they were for me as I first got stretch marks on my legs and hips when I was teenager and didn't want them getting worse. Ideally, we would all love soft, flawless skin. Luckily, I have got some great essential oil recipes for you to try! They will inject your skin with moisture and hydration to prevent or reduce the appearance of stretch marks and help overall skin tone, leaving you feeling smooth and confident! All of the recipes are safe to use during pregnancy, however if you are dubious at all you can always have a chat with your midwife or doctor for peace of mind.
All the carrier oils I have suggested are really high in vitamin E, especially wheatgerm which is supercharged, so they are fantastic for boosting collagen and therefore plumping the skin. The same goes for the essential oils, they all promote cell regeneration so help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
I usually mix my blend in a measuring cup, if you don't have one you can use a bowl and 15ml of oil = 1 tablespoon. Massage the oil blend all over, concentrating on areas such as boobs, hips, tummy, thighs and bum where stretch marks are more likely to appear.
